This scenic snowshoe hike starts with a walk along snowy trails toward the sculpture “Mother Nature”, the tallest wooden sculpture in Europe (8 meters) dedicated to women.
After a panoramic break to admire the view and the sculpture, the route continues downhill to the village of Forni Avoltri to visit the Great War Museum, which houses artifacts, testimonies, and documents from World War I. The excursion concludes with a tasting of local malga cheese, a traditional dairy product that refl ects the rich cheesemaking heritage of Friuli.
